We have music all day and all night on St. Patrick's Day.
Leading off the fesitivities each year is Claypipe, the Seattle-based trio of Wayne Quinn, Jim Douma and Joe Martin. Claypipe brought their talents to the Seattle Irish music scene over twenty years ago. Their repertoire is expansive, ranging from traditional and lively dance music with Bodhran (Irish drum) and accordion, to romantic ballads in three-part harmony with guitar and banjo. Instrumentals featuring harmonica, penny whistle, and flute round out their performances.
Claypipe begins at at T.S. McHugh's Irish Pub.
The music continues in the evening with Creeping Time, a favorite of our erstwhile weekly live music performances. Their music spans the gap between your grandfather’s bluegrass and modern rocket science. It’s like Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, and Vassar Clements jamming with Phish, Steve Earle, and the Ramones.
Creeping Time begin their set after Claypipe finishes up, around at T.S. McHugh's Irish Pub. The music ends sometime around .
